L.A. East Studios, established in 1987, distinguishes itself as the longest running recording complex operating in the Intermountain West. Housed in a classic, turn of the century church, L.A. East enjoys a variety of recording spaces with exceptional acoustical characteristics. These spaces include the unique “Chapel” Scoring Stage and Studio A with their high ceilings, both presenting a wide variety of recording environments. Renowned acoustic designer Tom Hidley (Westlake Audio) designed both Studio A and Control Room A.
L.A. East offers the latest in advanced recording technology, with both digital and analog mixing consoles, signal processing equipment, digital editing tools and an impressive array of microphones and outboard gear. In addition the studios are remotely accessible via ISDN, Source Connect, Skype, or phone patch.
"While we have always been extremely happy with L.A. East’s capabilities and its capacity as a facility, we also recognize the tremendous contribution our team of engineers, musicians, composers, producers, contractors, and support personnel play in our success. The magic of L.A. East can be attributed to our staff, each one a seasoned veteran of the recording process, professionals who treat each client with passion and commitment."
